Man duped of `20,000 at ATM

A Cuncolim man was allegedly duped of Rs 20,000 by two unidentified persons at an ATM of bank in Cuncolim.

According to Cuncolim police, the incident occurred at around 11 am on Wednesday when the complainant victim, one Freddy, had gone to the ATM to withdraw money. However, not well-versed with withdrawal, he sought help from some two unidentified persons outside the ATM. The victim claimed he was duped of Rs 20,000 when he received an SMS on his phone.
 although he himself did not receive the money.   
Having learnt that he was duped, the victim complainant later lodged a complaint with Cuncolim police.   
Further investigations are in progress.
